Since 2024, undergraduate courses in Division of Mechanical Engineering and a graduate course in Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tohoku University have launched the “Cross Information Program” and the “MC Program for Advanced Information Technology Professionals”, respectively, to foster advanced information technology professionals who will lead the next-generation information society.
The “Cross Information Program” offered by undergraduate courses in Division of Mechanical Engineering is an elective curriculum that can be taken by up to 100 students in a regular course. The “MC Program for Advanced Information Technology Professionals” offered by Department of Aerospace Engineering has no limit on the number of students who can take the program, and upon completion, students are awarded a certification badge for taking the designated information-related subjects.
