横堀壽光名誉教授が、ギリシャで開催された第１４回世界破壊力学会議において最高貢献賞（Yokobori Gold Medal)を受賞されました。
本賞は学術分野として「材料強度学」を立ち上げられた横堀武夫名誉教授にちなんで創設された賞で、日本人としては2人目の受賞になります。
