Management Science and Technology
技術社会システム専攻では、社会における「技術だけでは解決できない課題」と「技術なしには解決できない課題」の双方への挑戦を目標とし、要素技術の向上に留まらず、工学分野における研究開発成果を社会にどう役立てるか、社会に必要とされる技術はどのようなものなのか、を分野横断的な視点から捉えた教育・研究を行なっています。
本専攻がカバーする教育・研究分野は、機械工学をはじめ、電気工学・化学工学・材料工学・人間工学・交通工学などの工学系分野から経済学・経営科学・リスク管理科学・環境科学・人文科学などの文系分野まで多岐に渡っています。本専攻では各分野における世界最先端の研究活動を通じた最新の理論・技術の習得だけでなく、スタディー・ツアーや実践英語研修などのユニークなカリキュラムを通じて、深い知識・高い技術力・柔軟な発想力・確かな実行力を備えた人材を育成しています。
